GRYSKLL
More than music. It’s a movement.

GRYSKLL is a Hip Hop collective that has grown from 6 to 16 eMCees, producers, DJs and engineers from Chicago to the DMV, the Carolinas to Reno and California. Most of us are over 40. We call ourselves The Expendables of Hip Hop.

We started in the summer of 2021 under #REELRHYMES, trading verses on Instagram Reels. Six of us figured out fast that reels weren’t enough. We needed to make records together. Our first single, Butterscotch Linens, dropped on August 11, 2021. Hip Hop’s birthday. We didn’t plan that.

We’ve met on Zoom almost every Wednesday night since. That call is where the music gets built, where the business gets worked out, and where we check on each other.

Our musical lineage runs through Tha Beggas (aka The Beggaz / The Beggarz), and today we build together through GRYSKLL Meets Tha Beggas.

How We Move

Cooperative economics over competitive business. We release music monthly, curate every project as a crew, and learn out loud. Every member brings decades of craft to the table. The goal is bringing each other’s dreams into being.
